BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Timothy Zelko is a board certified practicing physician for over 22 years. He is the director of his own laser centers, Revitalize LaserSpa and SpaSurgica, both specializing in aesthetic procedures for men and women .
Dr. Zelko became interested in adding liposuction procedures to his
aesthetic practice in the Fall of 2005. Liposuction is currently the
most common aesthetic procedure performed in the US today, averaging approximately 500,000 procedures per year. He realized that this huge demand was significantly tempered by the fear of pain, complications and cost of the procedure.
Dr. Zelko's due diligence led to the discovery of Office liposuction
technologies. These procedures addressed this huge demand while
simultaneously delivering a new a level of safety, comfort and
acceptability.
With the encouragement of his friend and mentor, world renowned surgeon Dr. William Saye, Dr. Zelko investigated the LipoSelection procedure defined by Vaser. When Sound Surgical Technologies, creators of the VASER(r) System and the VASER LipoSelection(r) procedure, opened up their training to various surgical specialties, Dr. Zelko attended their first training course in January of 2006.
He has been a dedicated user of the Vaser technology since his training and now represents the manufacturer of Vaser, as an honored speaker and trainer. Dr Zelko has inspired other physicians to use the technology by both demonstrating and mentoring them in the art of Vaser LipoSelection.
Recently, the FDA approved SmartLipo, a laser assisted technology for office liposuction. Dr. Zelko investigated this technology and realized that it added another piece to the puzzle of pursuing the most effective and safest means of performing office liposuction.
Dr Zelko now offers UltraLipo, which combines his dedication for medical excellence with his artistic passion for body sculpting. UltraLipo is the perfect melding of Vaser and SmartLipo technologies.
